FIRST AND LAST

Before my first thought has been thought and tried, let me push all my earthly whims aside. Let my thoughts be of your plan for me, not one of vain and pride. Let your grace be my morning's first embrace. Let your mercy ready me for our face to face. When the day is done let my last thought be prayers to the Son. Let any sin be forgiven, any wrongdoing at that time be undone. Let you be my first and last, let grace fill my heart so the day can be won.
