Been since The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries (TFAM) services in New Orleans last year that I felt such intense Presence in church. So much so that, during prayer, I asked the first lady and mother of the church to pray for me. My Lord, she prayed and prophesied a WORD to and over me. I had an “Elizabeth” moment pregnant at my age.

In Biblical and contemporary time, there is so much emphasis on having a baby; particularly male babies to carry on the family name, legacy, and heritage. So, when Black, Bronze, and Brown women in antiquity – Sarah (mother of Isaac, Mrs. Manoah (mother of Samson), Hannah (mother of Samuel), Elizabeth (mother of John the Baptist) – were suspect and subject to be divorced if they did not have at least one son.
