The 'Brawl at the Big House' is being assessed for possible criminal charges.

The probe into the “Brawl at the Big House” is now in the hands of the Washtenaw county Prosecutor’s office.

University of Michigan police officials say they have turned over their investigation results from the fight between Michigan State and Michigan players following their football game on October 29th.

U of M coach Jim Harbaugh says he wants Spartan players criminally charged for the melee that resulted in one Wolverine player suffering a concussion. That player, defensive back Gemon Green, has ‘lawyered up’ and is, according to his attorney, “deserving of compensation for his injuries.”

A total of 8 Spartan players have been suspended from the team indefinitely. At least one of them has retained legal counsel who claimed in a media statement that his client was defending himself after being first attacked by a Michigan player in the tunnel leading from the field at Michigan Stadium.
