Lansing Community College to host candidate forum

LCC Honors Program in partnership with the Lansing State Journal will host a Candidate Forum 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 in the Michigan Room of the Gannon Building, 411 North Grand Avenue, Lansing.


Area candidates vying for seats on the Ingham County Commission, state house, state senate and LCC Board of Trustees are slated to participate. The candidates will be available to meet and greet the public and answer questions from a panel comprised of LCC political science faculty and members of the editorial staff of the Lansing State Journal.


This event is designed to provide voters in the Greater Lansing area with the information needed to make informed decisions when casting their ballots in the upcoming Nov.6 election.


The forum is free and open to the public.


LCC’s Honors Program offers enriched courses, special advising services, community service options, and other enhanced learning opportunities for students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
