Veterans Tribute Ceremony to Take Place November 10th, 2018 Lansing Catholic High School will Host the 13th Annual Event – The City of Lansing, together with volunteers from the Lansing Veterans Commission, will sponsor the thirteenth annual Lansing Veterans Tribute on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Lansing Catholic High School (501 Marshall Street in Lansing). The event begins with a complimentary breakfast buffet, from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. in the high school café area. The Veterans Tribute Ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Lansing Catholic High School auditorium. The ceremony will feature Massing of the Colors, Color Guard, and musical performances by Lansing Eastern High School Band, Glen Erin Pipe Band Lansing Catholic High School Choir, and solo vocalist Mary Black Junttonen. 2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of the First World War. Lansing Mayor Andy Schor will offer remarks at the ceremony. Ms. Sheri Jones is the event’s 2018 Master of Ceremonies, representing the event media partner WLNS TV 6. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for the breakfast, while the ceremonial program begins promptly at 10:30 with massing of the colors. This event is free and open to the public.
