Classes are canceled today at the Visual and Performing Arts high school in St. Louis, Missouri following Monday’s mass shooting incident.

Three people, including the shooter, were killed and four other people were shot and wounded.

Officials in St. Louis have identified the shooting suspect as Orlando Harris, a 19-year-old, who graduated from the school last year. Police say he was killed by responding officers.

According to reports, Harris shot and killed a 16-year-old student named Alexandria Bell and a teacher, 61-year-old Jean Kuczka, (pictured below), who was a mother of five.

Police said the damage could have been far worse. The shooter’s gun jammed at one point, one student said, giving kids time to escape. And police found more than a dozen 30-round magazines on him.
