Powerball Lottery Drawing is Delayed

We are still waiting for the winning numbers to be drawn in last night's Powerball Lottery Jackpot with the most money (around $2 billion) ever at stake in a single drawing.

Lottery officials say last night's drawing had to be delayed due to a technical problem in one of the 48 states that participate in the multi-state lottery. Officials in that unnamed state said they needed more time to complete the required security protocols.

The drawing is still planned to occur after that procedure is completed. And so, we anticipate the winning numbers will be known sometime Tuesday morning.

A single winning ticket is estimated to be worth $1.98 billion....the largest lottery prize in history!
