As of today, the statewide average price of gasoline is $3.44 a gallon. That's a 20-cent decline from a week ago.
"As demand remains low and fuel stocks grow, drivers will likely continue to see pump prices decrease through this week," Adrienne Woodland, a spokeswoman for AAA said. "Michigan gas prices continue to fall with motorists now paying almost 80 cents less than this time last month."
On average, Michigan drivers are paying $51 for a full 15-gallon fill-up.
The most expensive gas price averages in Michigan: Jackson, $3.64; Traverse City, $3.64; and Grand Rapids, $3.61.
The least expensive are metro Detroit, $3.29; Lansing, $3.40 and Flint, $3.44.
