Cyberattack Forces School Closures

There will be no classes today for students or teachers in Jackson and Hillsdale counties. Officials will be busy trying to resolve what they say was a ransomware attack on computers at the offices of the Jackson Intermediate School District (ISD).

The Jackson ISD provides computer services for other districts in Jackson and Hillsdale counties.

Students in those counties are urged NOT TO USE their school-issued computers until further notice, say, officials.
