About The Chronicle Media Group

For nearly four decades, The Chronicle Media Group has stood as Michigan's trusted voice for Black and multicultural communities. Founded in 1986, we've grown from a single Lansing newspaper into a multimedia powerhouse—delivering truth through print, digital, podcast, and publishing platforms. As a Black-owned, woman-led media company, we don't just report the news; we preserve legacies, amplify voices, and connect communities across Michigan and beyond.
