The Lansing location which is independently owned and operated by Ms. Lisa Young opened its doors in October of 2000. Lisa is excited and humbled to say that she has been working with the community for over sixteen years and she is dedicated to the mission of helping people succeed. She is committed to helping people find jobs and providing workforce solutions to businesses. This is accomplished by a streamlined screening process that includes over four-hundred evaluations.

Ms. Lisa Young is an outstanding entrepreneur with a heart for service and community. Lisa is a Detroit native and a Michigan State University Graduate. Over sixteen years ago Lisa diligently prepared to become an owner/operator of her own McDonald's Franchise. To her surprise the strenuous training was what motivated her to oversee Express Employment Professionals (Formerly Express Personnel)

In addition to Lisa’s work endeavors she is also very active in the community. The Lansing office participates in several community service initiatives such as back pack drives, food donations, and Easter Basket giveaways. Furthermore, the office supports The Boys and Girls Club of Lansing, Junior Achievement and the Children’s Miracle Network amongst others.

The office has consistently won awards for excelling in customer service and sales. The Lansing office has won the Circle of Excellence award eight of the sixteen years in business. When asked what helps one to achieve the level of success at which Lisa currently operates she said “Humility is the Key” In addition, she attributes her success to her strong Faith and values. Lisa says that helping people succeed is what inspires her. In the future she desires to continue to expand the Express Brand in the local market with workforce training events and community initiatives. Her goal is to leave a legacy geared towards marketplace ministry for her children.
