Lansing's Magic Johnson brings 'Holiday Hope' to families in Michigan

Lansing's homegrown superstar, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, was back in Michigan to help provide some "holiday hope" to thousands of families.

As pictured above, all kinds of food and gifts for Christmas were given out to an estimated 800 families during the "Magic Johnson Holiday Hope" event at Detroit's Second Ebenezer Church on Saturday, November 12th.

It was part of an effort, co-sponsored by General Motors, that provided over a million dollars worth of food, toys, clothing, and gifts to struggling families in Detroit, Flint, and Lansing.
