An HBCU "Hookup"

Longtime Texas Southern University administrator and professor, Dr. Aisha Morris Moultry, has been named as the interim dean of the recently-established College of Transdisciplinary Studies (COTS).

TSU launched COTS to create a pathway for people who started college but did not complete their degree program. COTS will help students to continue, and hopefully, complete their education by earning a baccalaureate or master’s degree.

The new college is the first-ever school of transdisciplinary studies approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. It offers a range of degree programs to satisfy the needs of students who have previously dropped out of college.

Houston-based Texas Southern University is the state's largest Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
