It's August, which means back-to-school season is approaching, but it's not here yet!

How can we keep kids engaged for these last few weeks of summer to set them up for a successful start to the school year?

Here are a few of our top resources to close out summer learning strong:

1.  Summer Reading Road Trip

The State of Michigan has invited all Michigan students to participate in its Summer Reading Road Trip.

Students complete themed challenges to earn 

prizes,

with new "stops" dropping every couple of weeks.

2.   Summer Activity Books

While these books were designed for the summer, the learning inside can stretch well into fall!

Our Summer Activity Books are for Pre-K through 6th grade, with 75+ activities for literacy, math, and more.

3.  All-Day Literacy Programming

The Michigan Learning Channel airs dedicated literacy programming from 5 a.m. – 5 p.m. every weekday.
