Steve Bannon, a close aide and supporter of former President Trump, has just been sentenced by a federal judge in Washington to 4-months in prison for contempt of Congress.
He's being punished for refusing to testify before the House January 6th committee.
Bannon's lawyer says they will appeal. His client will remain free on bond for the time being.
