Eastern Michigan University is serving up a full day of Eagle pride, purpose, and high-energy basketball with a women’s and men’s doubleheader on Saturday, January 24, at the George Gervin GameAbove Center.
The action tips off at 1 p.m. with EMU Women’s Basketball taking on Northern Illinois during Mental Health Awareness and Fraternity & Sorority Life Day. The game will spotlight mental health resources while celebrating EMU’s Greek Life community, bringing awareness and unity together under one roof.
The energy continues into the evening as EMU Men’s Basketball faces Kent State in game two of the doubleheader. Fraternities and sororities will unite for Dribble for the Cure, a cancer awareness initiative that highlights the power of collective action beyond the court.
One ticket grants access to both games, making it a full day of hoops, purpose, and Eagle spirit. Due to upcoming inclement weather, the previously scheduled frisbee dog halftime show has been postponed to a future home game.
For tickets or additional information, fans can contact the EMU Ticket Office at 734-487-3669.
