During her speech, Trustee Townsend emphasized in her address that we are all powerful women. We can give back to our communities and schools, and be the example of women that future young women need to see to be influential in today's marketplace. She kept with the theme "Finer Women- Powerful Women," by encouraging attendees to "never let your failure define your future, it was only a building block to get you to your success."
