Something special is coming, and it starts with our children. The Chronicle News is proud to introduce a brand new initiative designed to inspire, empower, and affirm the next generation, the Chronicle Kids Coloring Series.
Kicking off the series is our very first feature, Judge Wanda Stokes, a respected leader whose work in the community reflects fairness, integrity, and justice. Through this interactive coloring page, children are invited to do more than color, they are encouraged to see themselves in positions of leadership and possibility.
Because this is not just a coloring page. It is a reminder that representation matters.
That exposure shapes belief.
And that belief shapes the future.
More Than Coloring, It’s Vision Building
Each page in the Chronicle Kids series is intentionally designed to introduce children to real people from their own communities, individuals who are living examples of purpose, excellence, and impact.
From judges to entrepreneurs, educators to creatives, this series will continue to highlight voices that reflect the richness and diversity of our community.
When children can see it, they begin to believe it. And when they believe it, they begin to become it.
Introducing: I Know I Can – A Chronicle Kids Community Book
Building on this vision, The Chronicle is also launching a powerful new children’s book: “I Know I Can: A Chronicle Kids Community Book”

This upcoming release will feature real stories, real careers, and real people, all rooted in our community. It is designed to show children what is possible when they are given examples that look like them, sound like them, and come from where they come from.
A Special Release at a Historic Celebration
The official release of the book will take place during a milestone moment: The Chronicle News 40th Anniversary Gala: Life, Love & Legacy
As we celebrate four decades of storytelling, we are also planting seeds for the next forty years, ensuring that the next generation sees themselves not just as readers of history, but as future makers of it.
VIP guests will receive an exclusive copy of the book as part of their gala experience.
Be Part of the Moment
This is more than an event. It is a celebration of legacy, community, and the power of vision.

Looking Ahead
At The Chronicle, we have always believed in telling stories that matter. Now, we are making sure our children can see themselves inside those stories too. Because the future is not something we wait for, it is something we raise.
