Mother & Earth Kids marks 15 years with Saturday celebration

DELTA TOWNSHIP — Mother & Earth Kids is marking 15 years in business with a birthday celebration Saturday, Sept. 26, bringing together baby-gear shopping, children's activities and special promotions at its Delta Township store. The celebration will run at 5437 W. Saginaw Highway, across from Lansing Mall. A NUNA sales representative will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for shoppers interested in the baby-gear brand.

Families can also take part in Wigglitz jewelry-making, coloring and cookie activities, with giveaways and gift bags available throughout the celebration. The store will offer a gear sale featuring floor models and overstock items, as well as $15 in Birthday Bucks for every $100 spent during the birthday promotion. The anniversary marks 15 years since Mother & Earth began in 2011. What started as a small business centered around cloth diapers has grown into a children's retailer offering baby gear, toys, clothing and family-focused activities.

Mother & Earth Kids also hosts music classes with Mr. Jonathan, designed for walking toddlers through age 5, with babies welcome. Classes are held Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and select Saturdays. The store's 15th birthday celebration takes place Saturday, Sept. 26, giving local families an opportunity to shop, participate in activities and celebrate a longtime Michigan children's retailer.
