Chinese National Sentenced for Operating Illicit Massage Parlors in Metro Detroit

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. — A 46-year-old Chinese national has been sentenced in Macomb County in connection with the operation of illicit massage parlors in Metro Detroit, according to the Michigan Department of Attorney General.

Jingyu Jin was sentenced by Judge Jennifer Faunce in the 16th Circuit Court in Macomb County. The case was part of the state’s ongoing enforcement efforts involving illegal commercial activity and exploitation connected to illicit massage businesses.

The Attorney General’s office has continued to work with law-enforcement partners on cases involving human trafficking, prostitution-related offenses and financial crimes associated with illegal massage operations.
