Holt Basketball Star makes her College Choice

One of the Lansing area's best girls' basketball players, Holt High School's Janae Tyler, has decided to take her talents to Kent State University next fall.

The 6-foot-tall post player made that announcement Wednesday and signed an official letter of intent with family and friends on hand at the high school.

Tyler was named to the Michigan high school girls' 2021-22 All-State team following her Junior season for the Rams during which she averaged 19-points and 13.5 rebounds per game.
