LANSING, MI — The Chronicle News proudly announces its 40th Anniversary Legacy Showcase & Gala, an immersive evening honoring four decades of community storytelling, leadership, and cultural impact.

The celebration will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Lansing Community College’s Michigan Room (600 N Grand Ave, Lansing, MI 48933). The evening runs from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, featuring a dynamic blend of culture, connection, and celebration.

This milestone event will bring together community leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and supporters for a powerful night of engagement and inspiration. Guests will experience a vibrant community marketplace, live musical performances, and a fashion showcase curated by Aondray Worthy, culminating in a keynote address by Wanda Stokes.

The evening will also spotlight the launch of “I Know I Can,” a Chronicle Kids initiative focused on youth empowerment, representation, and education—continuing The Chronicle’s legacy of investing in future generations.
