Updated: 34 minutes ago

More than a coloring page, it’s a mirror. Showing our children they can use their voice, tell stories, and shape their world. Through Chronicle Kids, we’re planting confidence, purpose, and possibility.
More than a coloring page, it’s a mirror. Showing our children they can use their voice, tell stories, and shape their world. Through Chronicle Kids, we’re planting confidence, purpose, and possibility.

Yanice Carter is a journalist, publisher, and community storyteller who is dedicated to sharing stories that inform, inspire, and connect people. As the Publisher of The Chronicle News and the voice behind The Sunday Chronicle, she creates platforms where real stories are told and real voices are heard.

Her work goes beyond headlines and articles. Yanice believes storytelling is about listening with intention, understanding people’s experiences, and shining a light on the moments and voices that might otherwise go unnoticed. Through her leadership, she continues a powerful legacy of community journalism while building new pathways for the next generation.

Through her writing, broadcasting, and community work, Yanice helps people feel seen, valued, and connected. She reminds us that every story matters, and that sharing those stories can bring people together, strengthen communities, and inspire change.

Young readers can see that their voice matters too. They can grow up to tell stories, ask important questions, share ideas, and help their communities stay informed and connected. With courage, curiosity, and creativity, they can become storytellers in their own way and make a lasting impact.

The Chronicle Kids Community Coloring Book Series is designed to inspire the next generation by highlighting real people, real careers, and real possibilities within our community.
